Why I Love WordPress: it’s Simply the Best in Content Management Systems

The reasons why I love WordPress (there are many of them) are to do with the fact that I love things that work beautifully. I love the fact that WordPress is the best in its class. I love that you can do so much with it with only a little technical knowledge. I love WordPress because it inspires me to go on doing better things online.

I have been a lover of WordPress right from its beginning. I love it more with every passing year because it is a technology that has caught the imagination of an entire community online and as such has benefited from the best ideas that the community has to offer, both technical and creative. and it’s great for SEO!

Handy CMS Comparison

I found this CMS infographic over at Pinterest, but the original is on Infographic Journal. It offers a useful comparison of CMS systems. Note the advantages that come with WordPress:

• the cheapest setup and customization costs
• the cheapest monthly maintenance cost by far
• Unquestionably the widest selection of free and premium themes (3rd party)–not sure that the figures for this on the infographic are correct
• The WordPress plugin repository is bursting at the seems with snippets of software that can transform an already great CMS into a killer online business machine
