It seems amazing now, that only five years ago, there was no such thing as an “SEO copywriter,” which is what I am today (and about ten million other writers as of the past 18 months)! This is proof that the Internet is causing us to evolve at a shattering rate. Another new concept that is just putting in an appearance is…Social Media Optimization, or SMO. What is it? Good question. Some are saying that it’s going to fundamentally affect the way we approach SEO, though, so we’d better get this concept straightened out because if predictions are correct, we will have to take it into account pretty soon.
